A very substantial garden lamp in a traditional 1960s design. The lamp is made of metal and coated with an ivory-colored paint, presumably the original finish. The lid is shaped like a tent roof and can be removed using two screws. The patterned glass panes are undamaged and can also be removed. The lamp sits on a heavy metal base, which has four holes for mounting the lamp to a plinth or wall.

The wiring needs to be replaced. There are slight traces of surface rust, which give the light a beautiful patina.

Probably manufactured in Germany in the 1960s.
