This impressive two-seater sofa by Pierre Cardin is in very good condition. The sumptuous design of the upholstery, which appears to be layered, gives the sofa an exceptionally elegant and high-quality appearance. This is complemented by the piano-lacquered sides and back with inlaid brass strips. The upholstery is in impeccable condition and offers excellent seating comfort. The champagne-colored upholstery with black checks has a beautiful platinum sheen. The lacquered surfaces show signs of wear, primarily around the brass strip attachments.

The French fashion designer Pierre Cardin designed these armchairs in the 1970s. He was known as a pioneer of ready-to-wear fashion and for his visionary designs. His furniture designs are still highly sought after today.

We currently still have two armchairs, an ottoman, a wall mirror and a coffee table from this series.
