This pair of Arcona leather armchairs by Otto Zapf is in very good condition. The thick black leather shows only minimal signs of wear. The back and seat cushions, as well as the leather armrest covers, are attached with a zipper system and can be easily removed. The armchairs offer exceptional seating comfort. The cubist lines of these armchairs are absolutely timeless.

Otto Zapf founded the company Vitsoe+Zapf in 1958 together with Niels Vitsoe and collaborated with Dieter Rams. In 1969, Otto Zapf left the joint venture and in 1986 designed the Arcona line for Art Collection. Otto Zapf worked as a designer for Knoll, Art Collection, B&B Italia, etc. Art Collection was founded in Aahlen in 1946 and renamed Dreipunkt in the 1960s. From 1976 onwards, the furniture was once again offered under the Art Collection name, featuring designs by top-tier designers.
