This Pastoe FM08 comes in the swivel version with a star base. The contemporary black vinyl upholstery is in very good condition with only slight wear on the corners of the armrests. The black frame shows hardly any signs of use and swivels easily. Despite the chair's minimal padding, it offers excellent seating comfort.

The FM08 was designed in 1959 by the Dutch designer Cees Braakman, who at that time was head of design at the Dutch manufacturer USM Pastoe. Pastoe had been founded in 1913 and had earned a strong reputation for its chairs and tables. With the FM08, Braakman created a design icon that still appears absolutely timeless today.
