An exceptional Oyster wall lamp in the Space Age style. The lamp is in very good condition. The white lacquered metal frame shows virtually no signs of wear. The front metal frame with the plastic element clips onto the lower metal frame, which houses the two light sources. The burgundy plastic element, which conceals the bulbs and provides beautiful indirect lighting, shows minimal signs of wear. The lamp is currently operated via a pull switch, but it can also be clamped directly.

The German designer Klaus Link designed the lamp in the late 1960s for the lighting manufacturer Neuhaus Design, which had been developing advanced and innovative lighting fixtures since 1947. Neuhaus Design was founded by Heinz Neuhaus.
