One of the classic vintage armchairs, an RH 302, in cream-colored leather in very good condition. The high-quality leather shows hardly any signs of wear, apart from a small abrasion on the piping of the backrest. The seat and back cushions are firm, while the down-filled side cushions are supple and soft. The armchair's solid chrome frame, manufactured by Ernst Riess & Sohn of Heringen/Werra, shows minimal signs of wear.

Robert Haussmann, arguably the most famous Swiss architect and designer, designed this armchair in 1954. Production was initially handled by Hans Kaufeld in Germany and later by De Sede in Switzerland. This particular model was very likely manufactured by De Sede.
